The hotel offers comfortable and spacious rooms at excellent value, with efficient staff and a convenient location near the town. However, dinner was a bit cold. The beach and park are within easy reach, and the hotel is pet-friendly, but it's a bit far from the city center for walking to dinner.
My stay at the Autolodge in a 2 bedroom Family Suite on the 25th of July was very disappointing due to the filthy conditions of the room. The walls, doors, surfaces, and even the hair dryer plug were all dirty. The overall cleanliness was unsatisfactory with cobwebs everywhere, black mold in the shower, and unnecessary stains on poorly vacuumed carpets. On the positive side, the room was of adequate size and had a 55-inch flat screen with plenty of channels.
The hotel offers a lovely ocean view from the room balcony, although the decor seemed a bit worn with paint peeling in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and efficient, but some areas need updating. I appreciated receiving milk each morning and the convenient location for meeting friends.
